This post will help many of my customers see that are current modern floral trends for a wedding ceremony, which ceremony elements and decor will take place in the near future and which ceremony set up is fading away. Why? The wedding floral design is always changing, see for yourself – about 10 years ago manzanita trees were so popular, almost every wedding designer used them. But not now! During the past 3 years, the circular arches or circle of love for the ceremony came on the stage and it is still a very trendy item to have. However, observing the many trend-makers in the wedding floral industry I need to admit, that having your own unique style, unique set up becomes the signature of the couple and of the wedding. So, brides, be brave to ask some ideas to dress the ceremony space from your wedding florist, let’s them come up with some new ideas!
I am delighted to share these gorgeous images with you from Magnolia and Scott’s wedding at Casa Real past month. The details of this day went to a new level of sophistication – gorgeous venue, elegant linens, lots of candles, original escort cards present by travel tags. The decor brought the perfect amount of warmth to the day with the pure whites, ivories, and blushes, with a touch of blush! Her color palette even accented the natural color of the walls at Casa Real! Isn’t it wonderful how many color options can be designed in the neutral ballroom?! (more…)
After meeting with Melody, it was very quickly clear that, while keeping the florals romantically designed, it was important to maintain a relaxed and whimsical feel to the design as well. What a wonderful challenge and we were certainly excited to get to design Melody and John’s beautiful wedding flowers! romantic wedding palm event center wedding flowers (more…)
Last year we had a pleasure to be at the Ardenwood Historic Farm for an editorial photo shoot session with the creative team. During this whole day, we were around moving the tables, linens and floral pieces to the different corners of the farm and Jay, the photographer, captured these moments for us. I am glad to share that this photoshoot is featured at the Grey Likes Weddings.
Setting up this romantic botanic garden wedding at the Gardens at the Heather Farm was so pleasant, it hardly felt like work. There was a slight breeze, it was about 75 degrees out and the sun was shining. Alana and Jerard were married in the Rose Garden under the gazebo covered by climbing roses and then partied all night in the nicely decored clubhouse. (more…)
Beautiful wedding at the Bridges Golf club, San Ramon, had a vintage mauve color combination as the wedding palette- one my favorite color in the violet color palette, it is a washed out, gray-toned version of violet, which paired with neutral off-white and ivory, accented with muted greyish greens. This wedding filled with lush florals, soft pastels, pearls, and all make up this remarkable wedding for Laily and Ryan.
What a beautiful day it was for Rene and Justin! They got married at Casa Real at Ruby Hill in Livermore last month, and their wedding venue could not have looked any prettier during the holiday season! This is an incredible venue and these stunning photos show it! The floral color theme chosen was the ever popular white and black combo that somehow suites every venue and looks elegant, satisfied, and classy.
The wedding flowers for the ceremony and reception perfectly complimented the extravagant black and white theme of the day! This wedding at Casa Real at Ruby Hill wedding turned out, like in the movie scene.
November is one of the most popular months to get married here on our Tri-Valley and Bay Area! Why? Well, the short answer is it’s not too hot, but… nor is it too cold, so it’s a super month to say ‘I Do.’
Winnie and George decided to do just that at beautiful Las Positas Vineyards, and their lovely celebrations looked just perfect for the chosen church and venue! Vineyard wedding at Las Positas Vineyards(more…)
