November is one of the most popular months to get married here on our Tri-Valley and Bay Area! Why? Well, the short answer is it’s not too hot, but… nor is it too cold, so it’s a super month to say ‘I Do.’
Winnie and George decided to do just that at beautiful Las Positas Vineyards, and their lovely celebrations looked just perfect for the chosen church and venue! Vineyard wedding at Las Positas Vineyards
Winnie’s brief to me for her wedding flowers was ‘sophisticated classy and elegant for the ceremony and little more relaxed style with some greens for the reception, and the floral concept we created told that very story, with sophisticated blooms such as orchids, roses, ranunculus. It was the floral match white and blush pink, that combined beautifully to create the elegant wedding at Las Positas Vineyards for Winnie’s beautiful day! I cannot wait to get the professional photos of Winnie and her wedding bouquet, look, how gorgeous is her bridal bouquet! Blush delicate peonies, blush ranunculus and cymbidium orchids, ivory roses, and pink rice flowers, how much more goodness can one bouquet bare… A variety of all these flowers combined to create the elegant cascading bouquet.
I took a picture from the mood board as an inspiration, but Winnie’s request was to make her bouquet very elegant, without sticking out elements, filled with orchids and premium flowers.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets are classy round bouquets of pink and white flowers, nicely complemented the rosegold long dresses of the bridesmaids.
Groom’s boutonniere made of mini orchid, rice flowers, greens, and gold touch. The groomsmen boutonnieres are designed of blush ranunculus. For fathers and 8 sponsors, I made white ranunculus boutonnieres.
Floral corsages made in 2 styles – shoulder corsage made of orchids for the female sponsors is shown on the left, and wrist corsage of spray roses, orchids and ranunculus designed onto a beaded bracelet for mothers.
Ceremony Flowers:
Winnie and George’s ceremony took place at the Mission San Jose, in the very old church with the authentic look and long history. Two large arrangements of roses, hydrangea, and orchids stayed by the altar and adorned the ceremony space. 
The long aisle had petite hand-tied bouquets or aisle markers flowers with long white sashes down the floor. I would like to see the images from the ceremony, I bet there are quite uniquely beautiful and so very sweet.
Wedding Reception:
The wedding reception met all the guests at Las Positas Vineyards. Dream Flowers team put the flower centerpieces onto the tables.
First, I would like to show you the sweetheart table as the part of the head table. Lush and full of blooms garland featured onto the Lovebirds’ table, and 2 arrangements from the church repurposed here behind the table, providing the gorgeous background for the couple’s photos. Other two tables on the right and on the left from the sweetheart table for the wedding at Las Positas Vineyards dedicated for the bridal party. We put the bridesmaids’ bouquets onto the very edge, added a few greens and a few more pew flowers from the church – here we go, a nice table decor is present.
We designed 2 types of the wedding centerpieces for this event – a tall flower centerpiece onto a vase and an ensemble of vases with submerged flowers and floating candles. See the video clip to get an idea, how we spread out the flowers.
This tall centerpiece had some greens among the flowers to connect with the vineyard wedding. The white and blush centerpiece has hydrangea, roses, orchids, tulips, stock and greens as ivy and ruscus.
A set of vases with submerged orchids and floating candles nicely created the romantic atmosphere for the evening.
Lastly, let me show you the wedding cake decor. Beautiful cake complemented by some cluster of flowers on each tear.
