University Club of San Francisco has become one of those venues that are perfect for any city weddings that have a vintage touch in the inspiration. Located in the downtown of San Francisco, the multiple floors dedicated to separate a ceremony space with a lot of natural light, and the reception ballroom.  This University Club of San Francisco wedding was a dream come true for Alessandra and Craig, especially for having the opportunity to have a city relaxed wedding day.

The details behind the couple’s vision were simple – refined, relaxed, elegant. Our favorite! We worked with a neutral palette of white, blush and vintage rose and dusty grey combined with metallics and clear glass. Locally grown peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, eucalyptus were the main elements in our flower recipe. The picture below represents the inspiration from the bride’s vision that was applied to the wedding flower proposal. Here you can see just pictures of what the clients wanted to have for their wedding day. All pictures below show the result of our work, our flowers created for the client.

We prepped the personal flowers of fancy flower palette the day before by lightly greening bouquets and corsages for the bridal party and family.

Personal flowers: Bridal bouquet and maids’

Brides bouquet contains peonies, pink astilbe, ranunculus and garden roses, lisianthus and grey dusty miller accents. The maid’s bouquets complement the bridal bouquet however they are much smaller in size.

Ceremony for the University Club at San Francisco Wedding:

Our favorite part of the day was designing a gorgeous ceremony space for Alessandra and Craig. In addition to the set of tall centerpieces displayed onto white pedestals near to the fireplace, we lined the entire aisle with over 50 feet long fresh greens garland accented with sets of glass vases and led floating candles (fire permit regulations).

To welcome guests we arranged a table with beautifully set items on it, framed with another long greenery garland nicely cascading down, set of the vases and candles to create a romantic feel.

Wedding Reception:

At the ballroom floor, we set the centerpieces onto the tables. The main idea was to create the elegant style centerpieces of hydrangea, roses, and peonies, airy textures greens, and tulips keeping the main colors together. All tables had a simple set up for dinner since it was organized in the buffet style.  We set up flowers alternating tall and short centerpieces in the room. The gold color of the containers and metal stands was supported with gold chairs, and like magic, the room immediately started to look complete and festive for the nice evening among the friends and relatives.

Even the large sweetheart table arrangement which had more fancy flowers for the newlyweds nicely highlighted this look we created for the University Club of San Francisco wedding. University Club of San Francisco wedding
