I can’t believe that Sarah and David’s wedding at The Club of the Ruby Hill was almost a month ago already. Their wedding was at the end of July, and let me tell you: this was one of my favorite weddings regarding a combination of colors and flowers. So when Azar, Mother of the bride, came time to plan all the florals and event design for Sarah and David, we knew that a sophisticated, garden-inspired design would be perfect for them!

We always start the floral design process with an exercise that helps me to get a really clear picture of what’s important to the couple as we plan their wedding flowers. I this case, I built the wedding flower proposal based on several inspiration pictures I received, following the clear direction that we are creating an elegant wedding filled with thoughtful, sophisticated details and romantic charm. Wedding at The Club of the Ruby Hill

I couldn’t decide which angle of Sarah’s bridal bouquet that I liked best, so you get both 😉 It was lush and organic, with a touch of trailing vine and the most delicious combo of fragrant blooms.

Bridal Bouquet Ingredients: peonies, ranunculus (some of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen!!), dahlias, several varieties of roses, scabiosa, astilbe, spray roses, and finished with pittosporum, Italian ruscus.

For David and the guys, we just did a simple ranunculus boutonniere. It also bears mentioning that of this couple, David is the one who loves flowers, which made me laugh. He was so thankful for the beautiful flowers that came 3 times to say “Lana, thank you so much!”

I loved the ambiance we created for the ceremony. For logistical ease, the ceremony takes place outdoors. I have never seen so beautiful Persian Wedding Ceremony – sofreh aghd – display, and we added 2 large arrangements as the background and a few small arrangements among the sweets. All of this was intelligently incorporated into the wedding’s reception design, as well! Take a peek – I’m so proud of how well this all came together and in a way that really maximized their budget.

In the reception hall, we featured the head table by putting the gorgeous and lush floral arrangement. Planned Perfectly created a magnificent design that the couple loved. We let them do their thing with just a touch of guidance as to what Sarah was drawn to, and I really think that that’s when the very best things happen! You can see that we re-purposed two large arrangements from the to flank the head table, which just helped to anchor the couple in the large room.

I suggested to chose two centerpieces styles to bring dimension throughout the room, half tall and the half low. The tall ones were my personal favorite! I loved adding the touch of the greens to enhance that garden ambiance.

I loved settled blushy amber tone, that created a romantic candlelit feeling.
