Joy and Ryan tied the knot in a romantic breathtaking view place and had lovely outdoor reception at Thomas Fogarty Winery in Woodside. The stunning mountain hills view ceremony and the classic outdoor reception with a soft peach and lavender color scheme was the perfect setting for a winery love celebration. wedding at Thomas Fogarty winery

Joy and Ryan love succulents, thus we introduced so many different shapes and varieties into the wedding look tying these wonderful plants in each element of the wedding floral decor. You can see carefully selected colors of the wedding (lavender and peach) and perfectly matching succulents besides. All elements from the color palette to the geometric shape to create a bit more interesting contrasting look of the wedding perfectly puzzled together in one dream day wedding.

This was an inspiration for the wedding including all ideas and details:

Personal Flowers: bridal bouquet, maids’ bouquets and boutonnieres with corsages

Joy carried a rustic-inspired bouquet with a natural round shape filled with garden roses, regular and spray roses, and ranunculus, anemones, lavender, and succulents accented with spiky astilbe and eucalyptus. The various hues of peach, off-white, and lavender blended perfectly to compliment the bride’s soft, romantic look in her satin wedding dress.

The bouquets for maids were designed in a similar color scheme with more light peach and whites incorporated to contrast against the lavender dresses.

Ryan’s succulent and rose boutonniere popped against his classic navy blue suit. And his groomsmen were not forgotten and carried simpler boutonnieres.

Wedding Ceremony at Thomas Fogarty Winery Lown:

ceremony for a wedding at Thomas Fogarty

All guests admirably watched Joy walked down the aisle to meet her best friend and husband-to-be by the redwood arch draped with floral garland and flowers with the majestic mountain hills as a backdrop. The bride looked radiant wearing a delicate lace gown and holding her bouquet in soft yellow and blush hues. The handsome, awaiting groom wore a black tuxedo and greeted his wife-to-be with a big smile as she walked towards him. The bridesmaids wore pale lavender dresses that matched the overall color palette perfectly.

After the lovely ceremony, the bridal party and wedding guests gathered in the outdoor veranda for the cocktail hour to continue the celebrations.

Wedding reception

The setting of the beautiful venue already sets the tone for the design of the entire wedding with its earthy and rustic, yet romantic feel. We just highlighted this vision by adding succulents and blooms, geometric shapes, greens, and candles. The peach and orange-hues nicely brightened up the use of various shades of lavender and white blooms which contributed to the magical ambiance of the space. The couple chose to pair wooden chairs with rustic, wooden tables set with wisteria color runners, pale lavender napkins, and plain white china.

We designed a few table settings:  round tables had a geometric lantern and flowers wreath of lush greens, succulents, flowers.

The long bridal party table placed in front of the sweetheart table had a runner of greens, bud vases with flowers, geometric lanterns, succulents, fairy lights, votive candles.

The sweetheart table is always one of our favorite places of decor, and we use our best skills to make it very special for each couple. Here you can see a nice flower spay placed asymmetrically and balanced with a set of geo lanterns on the other side. Would you tell that this is the reused flowers from the wedding arch? Of course not, but this is the one. We took the flowers down and rearranged some flowers to make is perfect for this table, quite low and lush, and not so wild.
In front of the table, we put a few more lanterns with LED candles and bud vases to tie together the overall look of the barrels with the lanterns nearby.

One more special element of the design is the couple’s chairs which nicely decorated with drapery and flowers.

A welcome area at the winery:

Congratulations to the couple and to all the lovely vendors involved! The Dream Flowers team was truly honored to be a part of this very special wedding.
