On June 21st, 2025, Laura and Geoff welcomed guests to an intimate and classically styled celebration at a private estate in Los Gatos. Under the dappled light of towering trees, surrounded by summer blooms and personal touches, their day unfolded as a stunning tribute to tradition, romance, and their unique love story.
A Ceremony of Grace and Meaning
In the lush garden, guests gathered for a heartfelt ceremony framed by a traditional chuppah adorned with white and blue florals, softened by a blush undertone. The structure stood tall with sky-blue drapery and florals in full bloom—roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, sweet peas, and delphinium, peonies,—creating a picture-perfect focal point.
Rather than elevated designs flanking the aisle, the couple chose large altar arrangements positioned on the porch, opening the aisle in a grand yet welcoming way. Ground floral clusters lined the aisle itself, forming a soft runway that led to the chuppah. The aisle was lined with flower petals in a swirling pattern, creating a romantic, textured path that felt both whimsical and intentional.
A Garden Flip with Heart and Style
As guests enjoyed cocktail hour, the ceremony lawn was transformed into an al fresco reception space—a “flip” that turned the garden into a glowing wonderland. Reception tables were artfully arranged in a mix of tall centerpieces, low floral compotes, and one long bridal party table filled with delicate bud vases and petite arrangements in shades of white, blush, and blue.
Florals were placed alongside blue glass votives, long white taper candles, and elegant glass hurricanes, creating depth, sparkle, and warmth as the sun set. Each table was named after one of the couple’s favorite teas—a nod to their love of tea tasting—and the theme was carried through in cocktail arrangements placed in vintage teacups, offering guests little floral surprises throughout the space.
A Poolside Surprise & Magical Evening Glow
One of the most memorable design moments of the evening was the transformation of the estate’s pool into a custom dance floor, blending form and function with showstopping style. As night fell, the entire garden came alive under soft, ambient lighting, with trees gently lit and string lights overhead casting a golden glow. The result was a dreamy atmosphere that invited guests to dance, linger, and celebrate under the stars.
Laura wore a graceful gown from @elegantlace.bridal, while @radiogatsby filled the air with soulful live music that moved the celebration effortlessly from classic ceremony to lively party.
