I am at a loss for words at how fabulous this couple is, I have really enjoyed our meetings with the lovely Emily and Brian a few times, we spoke about all details for the wedding and how important friends and family are. Giggling and full of smiles, I just thought ‘how sweet are these two!!’ so much love and so much fun, and may I say it was an absolute pleasure being involved in their day.  And this was just a beautifully simple and elegant wedding!

Creating the floral concept for these two cute kids, sort of, took my breath away. Keeping it traditional yet with a modern twist, Emily chose dark greens and touches of whites and which suited her Modern Greens wedding San Francis in the heart of San Francisco. Their color scheme was in gentle white and creams palette using soft pinks and pale greens with some very well placed nude colored roses to bring in the modern rose-beige or mauve shades.

The Emily’s choice of gardenisque and flowy modern style bouquet was the perfect accessory for her stunning lace dress. I created a handheld unstructured style design with the color palette of ivory, blush, cream, and white, which was then elaborated to include dark greens, greys hues through to the bridal party and ceremony and reception spaces!

I created a sample bridal bouquet from the picture I received to see and discuss, and later on, the bridal bouquet was changed to this one. Emily’s bouquet featured David Austin Roses, magnolia and peony blooms, ivory roses, lisianthus, tulips,  ranunculus and dusty eucalyptus foliage.

The bridesmaids’ dresses were a palette of nude and mauve colors and complemented with the garden style country posies.

The ceremony space featured simple green ruscus garlands hanging down from a copper structure provided by Brian; plus the aisle decorated with sets of candles.

During this wedding, the ceremony took place in the same room as the following reception. We decorated the tables with simple but elegant setup

For the cocktail area, we set up a lot of details. First, I love this idea of the sitting chart display, adorned with 2 green and flower sprays.

Second, one more beautiful flower spray featured the photo display, the guests suppose to take pictures and hang them on the ropes during the wedding.

Third, the welcome sign has cute flower spray of peony and garden roses, tulips, and lush dark greens.

While the guest had the cocktail hour, we turned out the ceremony room into the reception room ready for the dinner. The wedding reception was very simple but elegant – the centerpieces are set of candles and the touch of greens.

There were many beautiful floral sets in the room, one of them is the dessert table.
